- Erskine, Barry & Anne (2)- Our sincere apologies . . . we cannot travel to this Reunion for medical reasons.
On 20th February I experienced a Mild Stroke and I now have to take it easy for a month or two with no driving.
My brother and his wife were willing to drive us there and back but Doctor & Physio said "Not advisable"
We are really grateful to Phil Gregson who, at short notice, agreed to look after the event this year.
As I will be 75 next month perhaps it is time for someone younger to take up the reins?
(In 1998 I did say I would only organise the first two Reunions and then leave it to someone else. You will be aware this is the 20th proper Reunion?!)
Update 20th March 2018. . . I am pleased to say that Phil Gregson has undertaken to arrange the 2019 Reunion.
Barry will continue to maintain the web site so, as usual, do let him know if you are atending/hoping to or sending apologies
- Cobbold, David (Fri) - this was to be David's first Reunion; unfortunately, he was unable to attend through ill health
- Ellis, Jim - Grandson's 21st Birthday Celebration
- Farrell, Hugh & Esther - were to be on holiday
- Greenwood, Martin - profuse apologies but l am afraid this year l will have to give the reunion a miss.
I have been rather preoccupied lately as next week, we will travel to Brighton to attend a commemoration service to my Great Uncle who was awarded the VC.
It will be a very memorable and special occasion.

Former PSNC Officers and family who have "Crossed the Bar" since our 2017 Reunion
Stennett, John - also known as Jack - died peacefully at home on Monday 12 June 2017 after a long spell of illness. His funeral took place at on Friday 23 June at Southport Crematorium. Family flowers only, but donations can be made to Queenscourt Hospice if desired.
Martinez, Juan - {information from Tony Conte in Panama} Juan who was ex-sea staff and former Manager of PSNC Cristobal, Panama, died on Monday 14th August 2017 in a hospital near London at age 86. His son Joseph informed me that his ashes will be scattered on Crosbie Beach in Liverpool.
