1906 : Aug: was berthed at Valparaiso during the earthquake and was used as a refugee accommodation ship.
1918 : June 25: Torpedoed and sunk 21 miles south west of Skerryvore; 6 dead

1895 : Became an Armed Merchant Cruiser of the 10th Cruiser Squadron; 6 x 6in (15.24cm) and 2 x 6 pounders. Capt Percy Brown.
1915 : Mar: Sank a U-boat off Skerryvore, Scotland.   Dec: Transferred to the French Navy; renamed "Champagne" but retained her British Crew
1917 : Oct 15: Torpedoed in the Irish Sea and sunk. 56 lost
