Engine: Twin screw, quadruple expansion: 2 x 4 cylinders; 1148 HP; Steam pressure 215 lb; 3 double and 3 single ended boilers; 27 furnaces; 14 knots. Coal: 1493 tons at 94 per day.
Hull: Steel ; 3 decks and Orlop deck.
Passengers: 169 1st, 111 2nd, 528 3rd. Crew: 172
1902 Launched: the largest liner on the route at this date.
1903 April 8th: Maiden voyage Liverpool - Valparaiso - Callao, her regular berth.
1919 Feb 10: Took the second PSNC sailing Liverpool - Panama Canal - Callao - Valparaiso. But the East coast route via Montevideo was more profitable and predominated.
1927 Sept 22: Made her final sailing via Montevideo then laid up in the UK.
1931 Broken up at Morecambe, Lancashire. A typical example of good uneventful service.
